A Pearson Television Company

Robin Houston your Quiz Master

Robin Houston, the voice of '100%', is also to be seen presenting the popular daily television quiz, 'One to Win'. He is a well-known voice-over artist who was also for many years a television newsreader. He has over thirty years experience in hosting conferences and working with corporate clients. His style can add both humour and gravitas to your event, helping lift it from routine to the rousing. Robin will not only host this game but, should you wish, the entire proceedings of your conference.

PUT THE CHANNEL 5 QUIZ "100%" INTO YOUR NEXT CONFERENCE

Broadcast weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5.

You can now add the excitement of this popular television quiz, which has run successfully since the launch of Channel 5 over four years ago, to your next conference using the broadcast team involved in the television production. Pearson Television produces and owns the rights to this programme and is now making the format available to corporate clients through HTT.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Candidates on the 100 percent TV set

The game is simplicity itself. Three contestants are asked one hundred questions with either three possible answers or a "true or false" option. During a brief musical “count down” they make a choice simply by pressing one of three buttons on their console. At the end of the game the player with the highest score is the champion.

By using the presenter, props and technical support used in the actual show and asking questions relating to your company this challenging game will add a competitive highlight to your conference.

HTT will supply everything that is necessary to run the game successfully. This will include three podia for the contestants, opening and closing music, necessary wiring, computers, software and suitable audio and video feeds for the PA and video projector. A technician will also be made available to rig, run and de-rig the equipment. We arrange transport of personnel and equipment.

Before the conference it will be necessary to run through the questions. Firstly to ensure that all the wording will fit into the graphical format and secondly to ensure that Robin Houston has been given all the correct pronunciation.

We will not supply video projection or PA. We will also need a microphone for Robin Houston. The podia have lights in them and will each require a mains supply. It enhances the game if the contestants can introduce themselves at the beginning. For this reason it would be useful if the they could also have microphones.

The audio output will be at line level from a stereo mini jack socket and the video, VGA at a resolution of 800 X 600 on a standard VGA 15 pin "D type" socket.
