SANDON GARDENERS' CLUB meets every 2nd Monday of the Month at Sandon Village
Hall at 7.30 p.m.  

The Gardeners Club was formed in the Autumn of 1977 by a small band of keen gardeners to promote and encourage gardening knowledge and skills in the village. We currently have twenty five paid up members. We meet every second Monday of the month from September to May. At these meetings we have talks and demonstrations on all gardening related subjects.  These meetings are held in Sandon Village Hall at 7.30 pm unless otherwise stated in the programme.

PROGRAMME 2008
May 19th The May meeting of the Gardeners Club will be on Monday 19 May at Mill End Nursery Rushden at 7.00 p.m.  Members will have a chance to browse round the Nursery, buy plants and have a look around the garden.  This will be followed by a visit to our President's home where we can enjoy the garden take refreshments and have a chat. Schedules for the Annual Show on 30th August will also be available.

In the summer months we arrange visits to gardens including our own members. Visits in the last few years have included The Swiss Garden at Old Warden The RHS Gardens at Hyde Hall, Wisley and Geoff Hamiltons Garden at Barnsdale.

The current membership rate is £7.50 per year. There is a further charge of 50p at meetings for coffee / tea and biscuits, non members are welcome at a cost of £ 1.00 per meeting.  

We are a friendly group and welcome all gardeners from complete novices to the specialist expert who might get their arm twisted to deliver a talk or demonstration. We endeavour to provide something for every one.
