John & Sarah Lever's Pearl Wedding - August 2002 

On 10 August 2002 John and Sarah Lever celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary, that is their Pearl Anniversary, by inviting friends and villagers to join them on the Village Green.  Although most of the country was being deluged by rain even as close as Buntingford, the sun shone in Rushden.
