Lunch in Symmonds Yat at the pub by the river and then on to Monmouth to look at the Nelson Museum which had been mentioned on the boat trip. This was followed by a walk around the town which is a lovely place on the Welsh English border. Michael Hezeltine went to school there. Stopped off for a cup of tea amongst the Georgian buildings. By the car park there were some amazing murals on the walls. They had even used the air vent as part of the bicycle painting.
